How to reach us when you're here
Ring the doorbell either outside your front door or outside the door of the main house. Both bells ring inside the main house.
Call us - the main number rings on all our phones
Main number: 845-202-2898 or...
Using the keypads
When you arrive we will give you a 4-digit number that will open both front and back doors (downstairs) or just the front door (upstairs). Keep this card with you during your stay. The doors are locked from the inside by turning the lock to the horizontal position. When in that position if you exit the house, it will automatically lock behind you. If you forget your lock code - just ask us!
Check-in is 2:00, but the apartments are generally available earlier if cleaned. Check with us.
Check-out is 11:00, but if there are no other guests coming that day, you will likely be able to stay longer. Check with us. If you do need to check-out at 11:00, feel free to leave your bags with us in a secure room, and use the pool in the afternoon.
How to use stuff
Free wifi is available. We will give you the code when you arrive.
The grill is located on the side of the house. Remove weather cover. Tools are located on the bench next to the grill. Turn the gas on at the tank (turn the valve counter clockwise) and follow the directions on the burner control to light. When you’re done grilling, close the gas valve by turning it clockwise.
This is a shared space and just below the windows of each apartment so please be considerate of your neighbors.
Please scrape food debris with the wire brush when finished. Replace the weather cover when the grill has cooled down.
Please dispose of all trash and food waste in the trash can by the grill or in the large green trash cans by the parking area - the larger is for trash, the smaller for recycling.
There is no cable or TV reception. There is a Roku box which will access free Netflix and free Amazon Prime movies and TV shows.
Ceiling Fans and Air Conditioners
The ceiling fans have a wall switch at the entrance to the room. This must be turned on for the pull chains to work to operate the light and fan speed. Use the fans - they’ll keep your room cool! Each apartment also has a room air conditioner for your use.
The pool is available for your use from 10 AM until 9PM. Please follow the woodchip path across the front lawn to the pool entrance. There is no lifeguard, so you must swim at your own risk. The quality of the pool water is very high, and chemical levels are checked daily to ensure the pool is both pleasant to use and safe. You will notice some orange stains on the bottom of the pool - this is not dirt but stains resulting from Hurricane Irene flooding several years ago. They in no way affect the quality of the water and are completely harmless.
Feel free to use the hot/cold shower and changing area. There is also a bathroom with sink and toilet for your convenience.
There are gray pool towels in your closet (downstairs) and dresser (upstairs) for your use. If you forget them, there are also towels in the changing room at the pool.
Also feel free to use the available sunscreen and bugspray if desired.
You may eat at poolside - for the benefit of other guests, please clean your table using available trashcans.
